BFL Sock Yarn (superwash) A large skein (approx 400 yards) of 100% BFL wool, superwash sock yarn. This is a tightly twisted 3-ply yarn with a lovely sheen. It will make nicely hard-wearing socks or other fingering weight projects without sacrificing softness. Simply Superwash Our very own 100% superwash wool sock yarn, spun from a soft 2 or 3-ply merino superwash wool. Each skein contains 400 yards (enough for a pair of most sizes of adult socks), with suggested needle size of 0 to 2 US. This sock yarn comes in two slightly different options. Both are from the same soft superwash merino wool, and knit up to exactly the same gauge. The first option is a 2-ply. This is a less tightly twisted yarn, which is similar in feel to Gems Merino sock yarn. The second option is a 3-ply. It has a slightly more rounded profile than the 2-ply and is similar in look to Smooshy sock yarn.
