Vallisneria Socks Kit - new! A brand new kit here at Wooly Wonka Fibers, Vallisneria features a lacy, twisted stitch pattern, modeled after sea grasses waving in the ocean breeze. This beautiful pattern was created for us by Jean Clement of Desert Rose Designs, and is available as a kit featuring our Superwash Merino/Bamboo yarn in the "Seashells" colorway. The pattern is suitable for an intermediate or adventurous beginner knitter. The kit comes with the pattern printed in color, with all charts and instructions, plus a skein of yarn to complete the pattern as written for a women's foot. Other colorways can be selected by special order (please leave us a comment when ordering and we are happy to accommodate your request!). You will need a set of US 2 (2.75 mm) DPNs to knit this pattern (or the appropriate size to get gauge). $22.00 Available colorway: Seashells

Boudica Socks Kit This kit contains 425 yards of BFL superwash wool sock yarn, plus this Celtic-braid inspired pattern by Miriam of MimKnits (designer of the Icarus shawl). Suggested needle size of 0 US. This pattern is suitable for knitters with some sock-knitting experience. Ceilidh Lace Socks Kit These lace socks feature two Celtic lace patterns, with the name coming from the Gaelic "ceilidh" (pronounced kay-leigh) meaning a social gathering, usually with entertaining and dancing. The large lace panel which extends down the front of the sock looks similar to the lace-up pattern of traditional irish dancing shoes for girls. Three smaller complimentary lace cable panels run up the back of the leg. These are knit from our hand-dyed superwash merino and bamboo sock yarn on size 2 US needles. They are sized for women's medium, but the foot length can be extended by knitting a few more rows of stockinette before the toe decreases. Lace-N-Cables Socks Kit This dressy sock kit, sized to fit women's feet, features vertical rows of eyelets and cables running from the cuff to the toe of the foot. The kit contains the pattern, printed on heavy cardstock, and a skein of our hand-dyed bamboo/superwash merino yarn to knit a pair of these beautiful socks. Mock Turtle Socks Kit These fun-to-knit socks feature an easy mock cable pattern stretching from heel to toe, with a square heel. They are knit in our 100% merino (not superwash) wool yarn. These are a great advanced beginner project as the stitch pattern is not complicated and the slightly thicker sock-weight yarn knits up quickly.
