Lily of the Valley Smoke Ring Kit This kit includes an original pattern, designed by Susan Pierce Lawrence, for a smoke ring or wimple. This lightweight project features a scalloped lace border to frame the face when worn pulled up, vertical rows of lily of the valley lace, and a slightly flared border so that it will fall gracefully around the neck. The kit contains the pattern printed in color with all charts, plus enough Zephyr wool/silk laceweight yarn to complete the project. This would make a lovely summer project to finish in plenty of time for the fall, and would also be stunning as non-traditional head covering for those summer brides.
